FAQ'S

We’ve been running Dru Yoga courses for over 20 years, during which time we’ve made a note of the most frequently asked questions…answers below.

If we haven’t answered your question though, please do get in touch.

CAN I PAY FOR INDIVIDUAL CLASSES?

To enable us to maintain our high standards, keep our prices down, tailor each class to suit the needs of the people in the room, and ensure all our students get maximum benefit from the classes, we only run yoga courses.

We do recommend though that you try a class first before committing to a course, just paying for the one session. After your try out session, and Dru Yoga is for you, then simply book by making a one off payment for the rest of the course, your tutor will advise you of the dates of your course, so that you are not paying for sessions you know you cannot attend. Plus, if for any reason you have to miss a session that you have already paid for, then we are more than happy for you to make up your time at any of our other courses, whenever it suits you, but we are unable to give refunds or transfer
missed classes onto the next term.

I’M A SHIFT WORKER AND CANNOT COMMIT TO A REGULAR CLASS, CAN YOU HELP?

Yes, you will be able to attend any of our sessions during the week.

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED TO BRING?

Please bring a yoga mat, non-slip if possible. You’ll also need to bring a blanket or beach towel with you for relaxation and to provide extra padding for the spine and knees. You might also want to bring a drink with you.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Please wear loose fitting, comfortable clothing and layers are best if you feel the cold, as you will cool down during relaxation. We practice yoga barefoot, though you can use non slip socks if your feet get cold.

IS THE CLASS SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS / FOR PEOPLE WITH A HEALTH CONDITION / FOR
PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT FLEXBIBLE?

Absolutely. Dru Yoga is for everybody and Every Body. All our tutors are fully qualified, and plan their own classes to suit the people in the class. Everything we teach can be modified or progressed to suit each individual. You will be asked to complete a health questionnaire before you start the class, and you can discuss any health concerns with your tutor, who will be able to advise you on how to get the most from the class, yoga to focus on and where to modify. If you are in any way concerned though, please do get in touch.
